Seaboard Coast Line

Created on July 1st 1967, the SCL merge was a combination of the Atlantic Coast Line with 5,507 miles of track and the Seaboard Air Line with 4,122 for a combined 9,629-mile railroad. Locomotives from both lines made up an impressive fleet of over 1,270 units. We will attempt to cover the motive power by listing all previous ACL & SAL units with their history in our original owner section. All new SCL units prior to the Family Lines System will be covered.
