Pulpwood Racks
Pulpwood was a
major shipment of the south. The Atlantic Coast Line, Seaboard Air
Line, & Southern all bought or built cars for this service. Many
variations in length and bulkhead height made an interest consist. A
few examples are as follow;
ACL class W-7
built by Greenville Car Co. in 1967. These 50cars rode on roller
bearing trucks with a bulkhead ht 76. Series 112414-112713, our
model is a Con Cor kit bash.
